About

Hi I’m Tess! You can usually find me in my hometown of Perth, Western Australia but chances are that I’m out exploring somewhere in Australia.

I seek adventurous travel experiences that leave you talking about moments from the trip for years to come. I love those moments that travel brings, where you feel like pinching yourself to check that it is real – those truly bucket list worthy moments!

Some recent moments of mine include adventuring through ancient gorges in Karijini National Park and flying over Uluru bathed in golden light in Australia’s Red Centre at sunset.

Combining this love for travel with my passion for storytelling and photography, I created this blog with the aim to inspire and help other Australian travellers plan their next adventure.

Whilst I’ve been an avid international traveller for many years now, travelling in my own backyard was mostly overlooked. A volunteering experience in 2019 changed all that, when I spent six weeks working and living in Broome in the North West of Australia.

This experience made me fall head over heels for the insane landscapes of the region and left me feeling inspired in a way I hadn’t felt for years…. It was here in Broome that tessomewhere was born!

I love to explore off the beaten path places, authentic and adventurous experiences, boutique accommodation, waterfall chasing, sunrises and sunsets, and of course, capturing it all with my camera.

I’m inspired by the vibrancy and colours of the landscapes and places around me, as you’ll see from my colourful feed on Instagram.

You’ll find I tend to keep it real, sharing my personal experiences (good and bad). I share my personal tips for us all to enjoy these beautiful places we get the privilege to explore, in a sustainable way so they can be enjoyed by future generations to come.

If you’d like to explore ways in which we can work together, check out my Work With Me page and you’ll find my Media Kit here.
