Are you feeling overwhelmed in planning your Western Australia itinerary?
Have you planned a draft route that you’re wanting some expert feedback on?
Want to bounce ideas and ask questions with a local?
I’m here to help!
As Western Australia is such a large state, with so much to do and see, it can be tricky even knowing where to start to ensure you plan the best trip possible with the time you have.
In addition to my free travel guides on this site, my WA Road Trips eBook and my Facebook community, I’m available for private travel consultations.
These meetings are the perfect opportunity for you to receive 1:1 tailored advice about your upcoming Western Australia adventures – ideal for first-timers or even return visitors wanting to make the most of their precious time exploring WA.

What’s Included?
During your 1:1 consultation with me, you will receive:
- Uninterrupted time with me to get tailored advice including a personalised itinerary, expert local knowledge and answers to your questions
- A recording of your consultation, so you can easily go back and rewatch it in the future
- An excel sheet with your personalised itinerary and notes from our call
- A 30% discount code for my Western Australia Road Trip Guide
I do not book on your behalf, but can include recommendations for car rental, accommodation, restaurants and my favourite tours and activities.
What Do I Need to Do to Prepare?
To make the most of your consultation, I suggest you come prepared with a few questions and an idea of what you’d like to achieve from our time together.
If you have a rough itinerary, you’re welcome to email it through.
Though I don’t expect you to come fully prepared, the more organised you are, the more you’re likely to get out of our session.
The booking form includes a short questionnaire, which will help me understand how far along in your travel planning you are, and what your interests are so I can best tailor my suggestions for you.
Make sure that when you join the call you are using a laptop or desktop – please do not join on your mobile phone as the calls are quite visual as I will share my screen with you to work on your itinerary together in Excel.
What Can I Ask?
Whatever you like! Some areas where I am best placed to help you include:
- The best places to visit, and when to visit them
- How long you should spend in each area
- Where to stay
- Where to eat and drink
- What you need to pack
- Budgeting advice
- Insider tips and tricks that only a local would know
- And all those other little things that will make your travels easier, help you to understand what to expect and allow you to hit the ground running when you arrive
Though I can’t guarantee I’ll know all of the answers, I am an expert in Western Australia travel and have broad general knowledge, plus deep firsthand experience from travelling WA from top to tail between Broome to Esperance on numerous trips.
If there’s anything I’m unsure of, I’ll be honest and do my best to help point you in the right direction.
Pricing
I’m charging an introductory rate of $80 AUD per hour (~$50 USD) for a private consultation.
Payment is made in advance when you book an appointment with me, with payment by credit card.
When you’re spending thousands of dollars to travel to WA, my local knowledge will not only help you make the most of your time and money spent travelling, but also save you from wasting your time with unoptimized routes or travelling to the wrong place at the wrong time. Plus, I suggest free activities as well as paid attractions that I think offer the best value for money.
Looking for a lower-priced option? Download my Western Australia Road Trips Guide eBook – it’s jam packed with valuable information with over 90 pages of destination guides, custom day-by-day itineraries and essential travel tips.
How Long Should I Book For?
Your consultation length will depend on a number of factors including:
- How long you plan to travel Western Australia
- How prepared your itinerary already is
- The level of detail you’d like to discuss
- The number of general questions you have
You might choose to book an initial 1 hour appointment before going away to do some more research and reflection, and then come back and book a follow-up call.
Alternatively, you might prefer to walk away with a finalised itinerary so you can begin finalising accommodation and transport.
If starting from scratch, I suggest:
- 1 hour for an itinerary that is up to 7 days long
- 1.5 hours for an itinerary that is between 8 days and 13 days
- 2 hours for an itinerary 14 days and over.
How To Book

Step 2: You will receive a confirmation email and Google Meet link for the session

Step 5: Within 1 day of our call, I’ll send out the Excel sheet with your itinerary and notes discussed during our call, as well as a copy of the recording from our call.
